From wind forecasting to tide charts, what apps or tools help you plan ahead?
I lean on PredictWind Offshore to preload 3–5 days of GRIBs (wind, waves, currents) before leaving, then sanity-check gusts and fronts on Windy: https://www.windy.com. Models can lie like fishermen, so I compare ECMWF vs GFS and watch the barometer — what sat comm are you on for updates at sea? I usually pull GRIBs over Iridium GO.
